Puppy Applications

Thank you for your interest in one of our puppies! Here is our process:

 

Instead of filling out a formal application we conduct phone interviews with all applicants and then make decision from there. Decisions are made exclusively on whether or not the puppy will thrive with your family forever.

To schedule a phone interview e-mail us at TulikettuKennel@gmail.com, use the Contact Us section on this site, on GoodDog or FaceBook. Please include some basic information about yourself and answer the question "Why a Tulikettu Lappy?" in that first communication. We only schedule phone interviews when we are getting ready to breed our girls. We will accept applications until the puppies go home.  APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!

During the interview we will discuss things like location, environment, household makeup, pet owning history, preferences and other things that will help us make a decision about whether or not a TuliKettu Lappy is the right fit for you. We will also answer any and all questions you have at that time.

If, after the phone interview, we believe a Tulikettu Lappy is right for you be added to our "waitlist". The waitlist will be contacted when we get conformation of pregnancy about moving forward with their application.

 

If we believe a Tulikettu Lappy isn't right for you but a lappy from a different breeder might be, we will refer you to breeders within our network. Sometimes we do find families where we believe a Finnish Lapphund would not be a good fit. In those cases we will be direct and honest with you.
