About Us
Caitlin is a second generation preservation breeder. Her family bred Alaskan Malamutes and Pugs. Following her family to shows sparked an early passion for dog sports in Caitlin. As a young adult she started her showing career with Shiba Inus. While Shibas have a particular zest for life, Caitlin began to seek a breed that would have more enthusiasm for a variety of sports. Finnish Lapphunds hit the mark being both a spitz breed and a versatile herding breed. Caitlin now trains and competes in conformation, rally, obedience, agility, scentwork, herding and coursing. She is a member of the Finnish Lapphund Club of America, the Macomb County Kennel club, the Michigan American Pitbull Terrier club. She has also enjoyed chairing and participating in FLCA committees as well as mentoring upcoming junior handlers.

Chase is Caitlin's husband and resident pet dad. He makes sure the home base stays standing while Caitlin is galivanting around the country showing dogs. When he has time he enjoys running their dogs in FastCAT and practicing scent work.
